فرصة فريدة من نوعها تجمع ما بين العمل الصحافي وتقنيات الإنترنت المفتوحة. ستقدّم هذه الجلسة الفرصة اكتساب المهارة المطلوبة من أجل رصد الأخبار الملفقة والانتباه إليها، خصوصاً تلك التي يتداولها الناس عبر الإنترنت وخارجه. وستقدّم الجلسة كذلك الأدوات التي يمكن الاستعانة بها من أجل التحقّق من المنشورات. سيتمكن المشاركون/ات من توسيع مدارك وعيهم/ن بما يخص رصد الأخبار الملفقة التي قد تحاول أن توقعهم/ن بفخ الإشاعات، وسيكون بجعبتهم/ن أدوات مجانية سهلة الاستخدام للتحقق من الأخبار والخرائط بأنفسهم/ن This workshop presents a unique opportunity to combine journalistic work with open Internet techniques to enable anyone to acquire the necessary skills to detect fake news circulated online. In addition, this session will provide the tools through which one can verify the news being circulated. Participants will be able to expand their knowledge of how to detect fake news circulated for the purpose of spreading rumors. They will acquire free and easy-to-use tools to fact-check the news and maps themselves.
